Today, we commenced a week long Climate and Gender Budget Tagging workshop series with the Government of Sindh, in close collaboration with the Finance Department and 42 allied departments.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Javaid Ahmed Kumbhar, Additional Finance Secretary (Budget & Expenditure), noted that the initiative represents a critical milestone in institutionalising evidence based climate and gender responsive public financial management, enabling systematic tracking and classification of budgetary allocations and expenditures. He also acknowledged the REMIT programme for its continued technical support and partnership.
