As countries navigate the future of tax administration, sharing practical solutions and learning from one another is more important than ever.

The REMIT tax team recently showcased Digital Eye at the ICTD Conference on “Future of Tax Reforms: Whole of Government Digitalization, Tax Data Exchange and AI,” presenting Pakistan’s experience to an international audience of tax administration leaders and IT experts from across African tax administrations.

The session also brought together representatives from the IMF, FCDO, International Growth Centre, JICA, ATAF, ODI, the Gates Foundation and ICTD.

By taking Pakistan’s digital tax reform experience to a global platform, REMIT is helping to promote local innovation while contributing to global peer learning on the use of digitalisation, tax data exchange and AI to strengthen tax administration.
