Last night in London, the room was buzzing with energy, ideas, and opportunity as UK and Pakistani businesses came together for the B2B Opportunities, Investment & Trade Roundtable during the London Tech Week.

Organized by REMIT, in collaboration with Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan and UK’s Department of Business and Trade, the session brought together entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders from across the digital economy to explore new avenues for collaboration.

Pakistan’s Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain, Bilal bin Saqib shared insights into the country’s rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. The discussion underscored Pakistan’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for innovation, digital assets, and emerging technologies, providing greater clarity and confidence for businesses looking to establish and scale operations in the country.

The session saw an interest from UK businesses across a range of digital sectors, including technology services, AI, fintech, digital trade, and innovation ecosystems, in understanding how Pakistan is positioning itself as a competitive destination for investment, partnerships, and market expansion.

The conversations reflected a shared optimism about the future of UK–Pakistan economic cooperation with focused discussions on strengthening technology and digital trade partnerships, unlocking investment opportunities, facilitating market access, fostering innovation-led growth, and deepening cross-border commercial ties.
