When we began our work on regulatory reform, our sole aim was clear: to make business and the economy thrive in Pakistan.
After years of dedicated effort, we’re proud to see this vision take shape with the National Regulatory Reforms Conference – a true milestone in Pakistan’s journey toward smarter, faster governance.
REMIT is honored to have played a key role in shaping the Ultra-Fast Reforms Package, which has now been approved by the Cabinet Committee on Regulatory Reforms. In close collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office and the Board of Investment, REMIt’s national and international experts, along with our legal teams, worked extensively to craft a forward-looking, business-friendly framework.
At the conference, the Minister of Investment and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industry praised this work as an important part to drive Pakistan’s economy.
The commitment shown by regulators—and the appreciation from the private sector—signals a strong collective will to make it easier to do business in Pakistan.
We now look forward to the successful implementation of these reforms, and to supporting Pakistan’s continued journey toward a more enabling, responsive, and future-ready regulatory environment.
