Pakistan has no shortage of skilled, creative, and entrepreneurial women. What we do lack, at times, is an enabling environment. The Women Entrepreneurship Policy, by SMEDA, Ministry of Industries, Pakistan, is designed to change that.

With easier access to finance, skills, market linkages, and easier business processes, the policy is all about economic participation with agency, dignity, and opportunity. When women thrive as entrepreneurs, families grow stronger, communities progress, and economies become more resilient.
