A meeting of the Steering Committee of REMIT was convened today. Finance Minister of Pakistan chaired the meeting with the British High Commissioner Jane Marriott as co-chair. Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of Planning / DCPC, Secretary Industries, Chairman FBR and other relevant government officers participated in the discussions.

Finance Minister expressed satisfaction with the programme’s progress and emphasized the timely completion of key reforms and initiatives, including taxpayer facilitation, the Export Development Fund, and the Debt Management reforms.
